Thank you for carving out a little piece of heaven right here on earth!! The moment we walked through the door we found "it" -- the perfect place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. The ocean views were breathtaking, the surprising "singing sands", waves and sea breezes left our souls drunk with happiness! Your attention to detail is magnificent, from the furnishings and antiques to the inviting bedrooms and cozy fireplaces -- it was more than we imagined. This vacation will always carry very special memories for us and we look forward to coming back next year and every year. We're simply captivated by this Gentle Island and your lovely beach retreat.

Local Activities

East Point lighthouse is in the area surrounding Robertsons Vacation Beach HouseDiscover Prince Edward Island.  It's the home of some of the best beaches and seafood in the world, lush greens in the summer and dramatic reds and golds in the fall, Anne of Green Gables and her creator L.M. Montgomery, and it's the birthplace of Canada.  With festivals, celebrations, and sporting events year round, a vital arts community, and a rich historical legacy, Prince Edward Island provides endless activity at the same time as it offers privacy and relaxation.  As Canada’s smallest province, everything is easy to access by car.

Basin Head beach and swimming is one of the beaches close to Robertsons Vacation Beach House

Island nights are cool and the days are warm in the summer, perfect for a walk on the beach, a swim, a round of golf, or a bike ride on the many kilometres of the Confederation Trail.  Take in a ceilidh ([kay-lee] a Celtic concert with music, step dancing, etc.) at a community hall or at an Island heritage site, or visit one of the Island’s many music festival like the popular Rollo Bay Fiddle Fest.  In the area surrounding Robertson’s on the Beach you can rent a kayak, walk the paths through the dunes at Greenwich National Park or stroll for miles on the beach, hunting for sand dollars while you enjoy the peace of Prince Edward Island.  Visit scenic East Point lighthouse and Basin Head.  Drive past lupins in bloom to the fishing village of North Lake or hunt for antiques and local crafts.  Drop in at the History Room and trace your ancestry.  The Island, like Robertson’s on the Beach, offers its guests the opportunity to get away from it all or to take part in a myriad of activities regardless of the season.  Some of the attractions in the vicinity (10 miles/16 km) of Robertson’s on the Beach are:
